HONDA @ AUSTIN CITY LIMITS 2024 | AUSTIN, TX
Held over two weekends every October, the Austin City Limits Music Festival drew more than 450,000 attendees over both weekends, making it a high-impact stage for cultural connection. As a prominent sponsor, Honda leveraged this vibrant setting to deliver a fully integrated, 360° brand experience that resonated with a youthful, music-loving audience.
To bring the brand to life, we designed a multi-faceted activation that balanced utility, storytelling, and engagement. The space offered festival goers must-have essentials like shaded seating, charging stations, and a water misting zone—providing a welcome break from the Texas heat.
Festival-goers picked up free ACL-inspired gear—trucker hats, bandanas, and collectible pins—offering fun takeaways that doubled as wearable keepsakes and easy conversation starters.
At the heart of the experience were four showcase vehicles—spotlighting Honda’s rugged adventure lineup and electric innovation—displayed in an environment designed to evoke exploration and edge. A digital sweepstakes added an element of excitement, while strategic data capture enabled ongoing audience connection beyond the festival grounds.
Sustainability played a key role in the design approach: by repurposing and reimagining elements from past activations, we minimized waste while ensuring brand freshness and alignment with ACL’s laid-back, creative vibe.
Invited guests also had exclusive access to Honda’s hospitality space, featuring backstage access to the Honda Stage—offering a premium experience and deepening brand affinity among press and VIPs.
By connecting the dots across media, on-site engagement, and thoughtful design, we helped Honda cut through the noise, maximize their sponsorship, and show up in a way that felt both immersive and undeniably Austin City Limits.
